Senior Manager/JVP - Marketing

1. Job Purpose
The position will be responsible for developing business opportunities, strengthening relationships with utilities and EPC companies, managing key customers, understanding market trends and achieving sales and business growth targets in the assigned territory for Electrical Insulators.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Marketing & Business Development
- Develop and execute marketing strategies for electrical transmission products.
- Identify new business opportunities in the power transmission and utility sector.
- Develop new customers and strengthen relationships with existing customers.
- Generate enquiries, follow up on tenders and convert opportunities into orders.
- Develop market intelligence on upcoming transmission projects, tenders and investments.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, product positioning and market trends.
- Prepare and implement territory-wise business development plans.
B. Transmission Sector Marketing
- Must have good hands-on experience in marketing electrical transmission products.
- Develop business with State Electricity Boards, Power Utilities, Transmission Corporations, EPC companies and other institutional customers.
- Understand and coordinate with the customers for technical and commercial requirements of transmission projects.
C. Tender & Order Development
- Coordinate preparation of techno-commercial offers and tender submissions.
- Review tender specifications,
commercial conditions and customer requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams for costing, technical compliance and delivery commitments.
- Track enquiries from enquiry stage to order finalisation.
4. Educational Qualification
Essential:
- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering preferred.
- MBA/PGDM in Marketing/Sales will be an added advantage.
5. Experience
- 20 to 25 years of overall experience in industrial marketing/sales.
- Experience in marketing/sales of electrical transmission products.
- Strong experience in B2B/institutional marketing in the power transmission sector.
- Experience with utilities, transmission companies, EPC contractors, PSUs and large institutional customers will be preferred.
- Candidates with strong exposure to the Indian power transmission and electrical equipment market will be preferred.

The ideal candidate should be a senior marketing professional with 20 to 25 years of experience and proven exposure to the electrical power transmission industry. He should have an established network among utilities, transmission companies, EPC contractors, consultants and institutional customers and should be capable of independently developing and managing a significant business portfolio from the Delhi/NCR location.
