Role & responsibilities:

- Bachelors/Masters in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Proven experience with TCL/TK scripting and GUI development (2–3 years, customer-facing).
- Strong Python programming experience for automation/integration (APIs, ETL, packaging/testing) for interfacing with engineering/toolchain environments.
- Intermediate working experience with CAE/CAD/PLM tools: HyperMesh, NASTRAN, CATIA, and Teamcenter
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and terminology.
- Ability to interpret technical documents and engineering drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with engineering teams and stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of other programming languages such as C++, or Java.
- Experience with web-based GUI development technologies like XML, CSS, AJAX.
- Familiarity with software development tools like Git, Docker, Agile methodologies.




- Understanding of networking and cloud platforms is beneficial.
- Experience with version control systems and continuous integration.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Automate CAE workflows such as meshing, simulation runs and data processing.
- Develop and evolve automation frameworks and tools using scripting and/or programming languages.
- Perform FEA and other simulations with automation to support product development.
- Validate the automated models to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to integrate automation in the discipline or value stream workflows and improve simulation methodologies.
- Generate detailed reports and communicate simulation results effectively to stakeholders.
- Continuously improve simulation tools and methodologies by integrating current automation technologies.
