Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright with TypeScript and a solid background in both manual and automation testing for modern web applications.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in Agile environments, collaborating closely with Product Managers and Engineering teams to define test strategies, develop automated test frameworks, execute comprehensive functional and regression testing, and ensure high product quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright with TypeScript.
- Perform comprehensive functional, regression, and automation testing for contemporary web applications.
- Validate APIs, including GraphQL APIs.
- Define test strategies in collaboration with Product Managers and Engineering teams.
- Identify,
document, track, and manage defects.
- Contribute to quality engineering best practices and continuous improvement.
- Work effectively within Agile development environments.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript.
- Strong understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience in both manual and automation testing.
- Experience with test planning, defect management, and quality engineering practices.
- Experience with Browser Developer Tools.
- Experience with JIRA and Confluence.
- Experience in API testing, including GraphQL.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Knowledge of accessibility testing using JAWS.
Good to Have
- Experience with Cypress.
- Strong understanding of modern web application testing.
- Experience in continuous improvement of automation frameworks and testing processes.
