The client is a leader in the Food Processing and Beverage industry, established for over four decades is looking for a GM Finance/Commercial for their HO cum plant in Punjab.

General Manager - Finance & Commercial

(Preference for candidates from Food/Beverage FMCG)

- Reporting to Vice President - Finance
- Leadership level Senior Leadership Team
- Direct reports Finance leaders across Accounts & Reporting, FP&A;, Commercial Finance, Taxation, Treasury, Costing and Shared Services, as applicable

Eligibility Criteria :

- Education Chartered Accountant - mandatory.
- Experience Minimum 18 years of progressive post-qualification experience in Finance leadership,including leadership of multi-functional Finance teams.
- Industry exposure Experience in a professionally managed corporate organisation is mandatory; FMCG, consumer, manufacturing or beverages experience is preferred.
- Strong exposure to FP&A;, Commercial Finance, Financial Control, Taxation, Treasury, Working Capital, Costing and Business Partnering.
- Demonstrated leadership of finance-process improvement, automation, ERP optimisation and organisational capability building.
- Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred), BI and analytics, audits, internal controls, risk management and statutory compliance.

Role Purpose:

To provide enterprise leadership across Finance and Commercial by combining sound financial governance with commercial insight to support profitable, cash-generative growth. The role owns Financial Planning & Analysis, Commercial Finance, Accounting and Reporting, Taxation, Treasury, Working Capital, Costing, Internal Controls, Statutory Compliance and Finance Transformation, while partnering with business leaders to improve decision-making, operating efficiency and shareholder value.





This position forms part of the Company's leadership succession plan and offers the prospect to progressively assume broader strategic responsibilities.

Candidate's Mandate:

- Translate the Annual Business Plan into robust financial plans, forecasts, performance reviews and a disciplined operating rhythm.
- Build a finance organisation that combines strong governance, business partnering and decision-grade insight.
- Strengthening profitability through pricing discipline, cost management, commercial governance and capital allocation.
- Protect enterprise value through reliable reporting, internal controls, statutory compliance, risk management and the highest standards of integrity.
- Partner with Sales, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, HR, IT, Legal and unit teams to enable sustainable business growth.
- Lead finance transformation through process simplification, automation, ERP optimisation, digital analytics and capability development.

Location: Punjab (HO) (Looking for immediate/early joiner not exceeding 30/45 days max)

Budget: Very attractive and high budget above market standards and not limiting. Purely flexible, depending on the candidates relevant skills, experience and qualifications.
