Work Model: Offshore delivery with overlap to US time zone is needed

Position Summary

The O9 Technical Consultant will support the technical implementation, data integration, automation, and performance optimization of the O9 Digital Brain platform. This role will work with data engineers, functional consultants, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth data flows, batch automation, system stability, and technical support for O9 planning solutions.

O9s platform relies on automated batch flows, data transformations, and cloud-based infrastructure to support planning, visibility, collaboration, and analytics. Technical consultants are responsible for validating, synthesizing, and transforming customer data, as well as ensuring system performance and reliability. Key Responsibilities

- Design, build, and deploy SSIS packages, data pipelines, and ETL workflows to validate, synthesize, and transform customer data for integrated business planning.
- Develop and maintain Python, PySpark, SQL, and shell scripts (Bash, PowerShell) for data processing, automation, and system tasks.
- Support automated batch flows, monitor job execution, and resolve disruptions to meet customer SLAs.
- Validate and analyze customer data for technical and functional intent, interdependencies, and data quality.
- Understand the O9 platforms data model, including table structures, linkages, and optimal designs for planning use cases.
- Fine-tune performance at various levels (data loads, batch jobs, queries, reports) and automate manual processes.
- Create and execute integration test cases, work on bugs/issues, and track resolution progress.




- Support continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes for O9 deployments.
- Collect, monitor, and analyze system performance data to identify bottlenecks and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and DevOps teams to ensure solution quality and stability.

Required Qualifications

- 4+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL development, or technical consulting.
- Strong proficiency in Python, PySpark, SQL, and SSIS (or similar ETL tools).
- Experience with shell scripting (Bash, PowerShell) and automation of data workflows.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data tools (Hadoop, Hive, Spark) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data transformations, and data quality validation.
- Experience with planning applications (e.g., SAP, Oracle, e2open, Kinaxis, JDA) is preferred.
- Valuable analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Ability to work in an offshore delivery model with US or global stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Research, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience with statistical, optimization, or simulation tools (e.g., R, JavaScript, Python).
- Experience with O9 platform technical architecture, data flows, and batch automation.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Access, and data visualization tools.
