Job Summary

The Surveyor is responsible for conducting land and construction surveys to establish accurate reference points, levels, and boundaries for construction projects. The role ensures that structures are built according to approved drawings, specifications, and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Surveying & Setting Out

- Perform site surveys to determine land contours, boundaries, and elevations.
- Establish control points and benchmarks for construction works.
- Conduct setting out for buildings, roads, utilities, and other structures.
- Verify alignment, levels, and dimensions during construction.

2. Measurement & Data Collection

- Operate surveying equipment such as Total Station, GPS, Auto Level, and Theodolite.
- Collect and record accurate field data.
- Prepare survey reports, maps, and drawings.
- Calculate areas, volumes, and quantities as required.

3. Quality Control & Compliance

- Ensure work complies with project drawings and specifications.
- Identify discrepancies between site conditions and plans.
- Maintain survey records and documentation.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards on-site.

4. Coordination





- Work closely with engineers, site supervisors, and subcontractors.
- Provide technical support during excavation, foundation, and structural works.
- Assist in resolving layout and boundary issues.

Qualifications & Experience

- Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- 3-7 years of experience in construction surveying.
- Proficiency in surveying instruments and related software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D preferred).
- Strong knowledge of construction drawings and site layout procedures.
