Job Summary

The Installation & Service Engineer is responsible for installing, commissioning, maintaining, and servicing entrance automation systems such as automatic sliding doors, swing doors, rolling shutters, boom barriers, sectional doors, and access control systems. The role ensures systems operate safely, reliably, and in compliance with company and customer standards.

Key Responsibilities

Installation & Commissioning

- Install entrance automation systems at customer sites as per drawings and technical specifications
- Perform system wiring, mechanical assembly, alignment, and configuration
- Test and commission systems to ensure smooth and safe operation
- Coordinate with project/sales teams for site readiness and handover

Service & Maintenance

- Attend breakdown calls and resolve issues within defined turnaround time
- Carry out preventive and periodic maintenance as per service schedules
- Diagnose faults in electrical, mechanical, and control systems
- Replace or repair defective components and ensure proper documentation

Customer Support

- Explain system operation and basic troubleshooting to customers

• Maintain skilled communication with clients during service visits • Ensure customer satisfaction and timely closure of service calls

Safety & Compliance





- Follow safety procedures and statutory norms during installation and service
- Ensure systems comply with safety standards and company guidelines • Maintain tools, PPE, and service equipment in good condition

Reporting & Documentation

- Maintain service reports, installation checklists, and job cards
- Update service records and spare parts usage
- Provide feedback to the technical team on recurring issues

Skills & Competencies

- Knowledge of electrical wiring, motors, sensors, and control panels

• Basic understanding of PLC, access control, or automation systems (preferred)

• Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical drawings

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel and work at customer sites

Educational Qualifications

- B.E / Diploma / ITI in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering
- Certification in automation systems is an added advantage Experience
- Freshers with relevant technical background may also be considered

Other Requirements

- Valid two-wheeler license (preferred)
- Physically fit to work at sites, including heights and confined spaces
- Flexible to work extended hours during emergencies
