Job Summary
The Placement Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and managing placement activities for candidates/students, developing relationships with employers, facilitating interviews and recruitment drives, and ensuring successful placement outcomes. The role requires strong communication, coordination, follow-up, and relationship-management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate placement activities for eligible candidates/students.
- Establish and maintain relationships with companies, recruiters, and industry partners.
- Identify and source relevant job opportunities and placement openings.
- Coordinate with employers for job requirements, interview schedules, recruitment drives, and candidate selection.
- Mobilize and shortlist candidates based on employer requirements.
- Organize and coordinate interviews, assessments, job fairs, and placement drives.
- Ensure candidates are properly briefed about job roles, salary, location, eligibility, and interview requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of candidate profiles, interview status, selections, joining status, and placement data.
- Regularly follow up with selected candidates and employers until the candidate joins.
- Achieve assigned placement targets within defined timelines.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly placement reports and MIS.
- Coordinate with the training/operations team to ensure candidates are placement-ready.
- Provide guidance to candidates regarding interviews, workplace expectations, and career opportunities.
- Resolve candidate/employer queries and ensure smooth coordination between both parties.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with placed candidates to track retention and employment status.
- Ensure all placement documentation and records are maintained properly.
- Support management in achieving overall placement and employment targets.
