- Design sheet metal, machined & casting parts and systems as per requirements.
- Create ideas for improvement of existing design
- Creating CAD drawings and specifications of products as per manufacturing guidelines.
- Geometric dimensioning & tolerancing knowledge & application
- Welding & surface finish selection as per drawing
- Preparing projects reports for technical aspects as well as weekly project reviews
- Staying up-to-date with industry standards and regulations.
- Perform design calculations as needed for current design.
- Participating in meetings with clients, vendors, and stakeholders to understand their needs
- FEA analysis skills would be plus
Skills:
- Any 3D CAD software expertise (SolidWorks, Creo, Inventor)
- 2D and 3D designing methods
- Thorough understanding of mechanical engineering concepts & production technologies
- Effective communication skills, teamwork and problem-solving skills
- Team Player
