Role & responsibilities
- Install, configure, maintain, and trouble shoot desktops, laptops, workstations, and servers.
- Diagnose and repair hardware failures involving CPUs, RAM, motherboards, hard drives/SSD, power supplies, CCTV and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot printers, scanners, UPS systems, monitors, and other peripheral devices.
- Perform preventive maintenance and periodic health checks of IT hardware.
- Troubleshoot basic LAN/Wi-Fi, switches, routers, and connectivity related hardware issues.
- Maintain accurate Hardware inventory of assets, warranties, repairs, replacements etc.
- Support data backup, hardware replacement, and system upgrade as required.
- Provide Technical support and guidance to users on hardware related issues.
- Maintain documentation of troubleshooting procedure and recurring hardware problems.
