Job Title: Commis 1 Chef

We are looking for a Commis 1 Chef to support daily kitchen operations at our café. The candidate should have basic kitchen experience, be disciplined, and be able to follow recipes and hygiene standards properly.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare food items as per café recipes and standards
- Handle prep work, cooking, plating, and basic kitchen setup
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety in the kitchen
- Check stock levels and inform seniors about shortages
- Support the chef during busy service hours
- Ensure consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation
- Properly store ingredients and reduce wastage

Requirements:

- Prior café/restaurant kitchen experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen hygiene
- Ability to work quickly and follow instructions
- Punctual, clean, and responsible
- Should be comfortable with sandwiches, pasta, eggs, fries, and basic café food
