- Key ResponsibilitiesHandle procurement of pharmaceutical products, medicines, packaging materials and related items.
- Identify, evaluate and coordinate with WHO-GMP / GMP-approved pharmaceutical manufacturers and suppliers.
- Obtain quotations, negotiate prices, credit terms, MOQ, delivery timelines and payment terms.
- Compare supplier quotations and finalize purchases based on quality, price and delivery.
- Prepare and manage Purchase Orders (POs) and maintain purchase records.
- Coordinate with manufacturers for production, dispatch, shortages, replacements and delivery schedules.
- Follow up on pending orders and stock requirements with the inventory/warehouse team.
- Maintain an updated database of vendors, product rates, compositions, packing specifications and MOQs.
- Coordinate with QA/QC and regulatory teams regarding product specifications and required documents.
- Ensure timely procurement while maintaining cost control and product quality.
