NDT Multi-Technician Position: NDT Multi-Technician – MPI Inspection. Number of Vacancies: 2

About the RoleWe are looking for experienced NDT Multi-Technicians to carry out Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) of castings at our client's facility in Coimbatore.

The ideal candidate should have strong practical experience in NDT inspection, particularly MPI inspection of cast components, and should be capable of independently performing inspections and preparing inspection reports.

- Key Responsibilities: Perform Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) on castings and components.
- Identify and evaluate surface and near-surface discontinuities such as cracks, laps, seams, and other defects.
- Carry out NDT inspections in accordance with approved procedures, specifications, and applicable standards.
- Properly prepare components before inspection and ensure correct application of MPI techniques.
- Interpret and evaluate MPI indications accurately.
- Maintain inspection records, reports, and documentation.
- Ensure proper calibration and functional checks of NDT equipment before inspection.
- Follow all applicable quality, safety, and inspection procedures at the workplace.
- Coordinate with production and quality teams regarding inspection findings.
- Report non-conformities and inspection results to the concerned quality/inspection personnel.




- Maintain NDT equipment and consumables in proper working condition.
- Required Skills & QualificationsMinimum 3 years of relevant experience in NDT inspection.
- Robust hands-on experience in MPI / Magnetic Particle Testing.
- Experience in casting inspection is mandatory/preferred.
- Good knowledge of NDT procedures, inspection techniques, and defect identification.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and inspection specifications.
- NDT certification such as ASNT / PCN / ISO 9712 Level II will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of other NDT methods such as DPT, UT, RT, or VT will be an advantage.
- Ability to prepare accurate inspection reports and maintain documentation.
- Willingness to work at the client/plant location in Coimbatore.

Compensation Salary: ₹30,000 per month
