Job SummaryWe are looking for a Billing & Accounts Executive to handle day-to-day billing, accounting entries, customer and supplier accounts, and related commercial activities for our sanitary, plumbing and building materials business.

The candidate should have valuable knowledge of sales and purchase billing, GST, Tally/ERP, MS Excel, inventory coordination, customer outstanding, and basic accounting. Knowledge of sanitary and plumbing products will be an added advantage.

- Key Responsibilities1. Billing & InvoicingPrepare sales invoices, tax invoices, quotations, proforma invoices and delivery challans.
- Verify product name, quantity, rate, discount, GST, HSN code and customer details before billing.
- Generate accurate invoices through Tally / ERP / Billing Software.
- Process sales returns, credit notes and debit notes as approved.
- Maintain daily billing records and invoice registers.
- Coordinate with the sales and dispatch teams for timely invoice generation.
- 2. Accounts ActivitiesEnter daily sales, purchase, receipt and payment transactions.
- Maintain customer and supplier ledgers.
- Record cash and bank transactions.
- Prepare customer statements and outstanding reports.
- Assist with bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.
- Follow up with customers regarding pending payments.
- Coordinate with suppliers regarding purchase bills and payment-related queries.
- 3. GST & Compliance SupportEnsure GST details are correctly captured in invoices.
- Verify GSTIN, HSN codes, tax rates and invoice values.
- Assist the accounts team with GST-related data and reconciliation.




- Maintain proper supporting documents for audit and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with auditors / consultants whenever required.

4. Sanitary & Plumbing Material BillingThe candidate should be able to understand or learn product details such as:

- CPVC / PVC / UPVC pipes
- Pipe fittings
- Elbows, tees, sockets, reducers and couplers
- Valves and accessories
- Taps and faucets
- Sanitaryware
- Wash basins
- Water closets / WC
- Bathroom accessories
- Drainage products
- Plumbing accessories
- Building and hardware materials

The candidate should verify product description, size, quantity, unit, rate and stock availability before billing.

- 5. Inventory & Dispatch CoordinationCoordinate with the Stores / Warehouse / Dispatch team regarding stock availability.
- Verify quantities against sales orders and delivery documents.
- Ensure billing matches the actual dispatch quantity.
- Identify and report discrepancies between sales, stock and invoices.
- Maintain proper documentation for dispatched materials.
- 6. Customer & Vendor CoordinationHandle customer queries related to invoices, payments, GST and outstanding balances.
- Coordinate with sales staff regarding customer orders and billing corrections.
- Communicate with suppliers regarding purchase invoices and account statements.
- Resolve billing discrepancies in coordination with the concerned department.

7. MIS & ReportingPrepare daily / weekly / monthly reports such as:

- Daily Sales Report
- Billing Report
- Outstanding Receivables Report
- Customer Ledger




- Purchase Report
- Payment Collection Report
- Credit / Debit Note Report
- Pending Billing Report
- Stock / Dispatch-related billing reports
- Required QualificationsB.Com / M.Com / BBA / BBM or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in Billing / Accounts.
- Experience in Sanitary, Plumbing, Hardware, Building Materials or Trading will be preferred.
- Freshers with good accounting knowledge may also be considered.
- Required SkillsGood knowledge of Tally / ERP / Accounting Software.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel.
- Basic knowledge of GST and taxation.
- Knowledge of sales and purchase accounting.
- Good numerical and calculation skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle multiple billing transactions.
- Ability to work under deadlines.

Salary₹22,000 – ₹25,000 per month, depending on qualification, experience and industry knowledge.
