Job SummarySVT Home Healthcare Services is looking for compassionate, responsible, and dedicated Caregivers to provide quality care and support to elderly people, bedridden patients, post-operative patients, and patients requiring assistance at home.

The Caregiver will be responsible for supporting the patient's daily activities, personal hygiene, mobility, nutrition, comfort, safety, and overall well-being while maintaining professional conduct and patient dignity.

Key Responsibilities1. Patient Personal Care

- Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Assist with toileting and changing adult diapers/pads.
- Provide bed bath and oral care when required.
- Assist with feeding and drinking.
- Maintain cleanliness and comfort of the patient.

2. Bedridden & Patient Care

- Assist bedridden patients with changing position.
- Support safe transfer from bed to wheelchair/chair.
- Help prevent pressure sores through proper positioning and hygiene.
- Provide support to paralysed, elderly, and mobility-restricted patients.

3. Health Observation

- Observe the patient's general condition.
- Check basic vital signs when instructed and trained.
- Observe changes such as fever, pain, weakness, breathing difficulty, confusion, or unusual behavior.
- Immediately report any concerning changes to the family, supervisor, or nurse.

4. Medication Support

- Provide medication reminders according to the prescribed schedule.




- Follow instructions provided by the supervising nurse/healthcare professional.
- Do not independently change medicines or dosage.

5. Mobility & Rehabilitation Support

- Assist patients with walking and mobility.
- Support the use of walkers, wheelchairs, and other mobility aids.
- Assist with exercises or physiotherapy activities only as instructed by the healthcare professional.

6. Emotional Support

- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Communicate respectfully and patiently with patients.
- Help elderly patients maintain a positive daily routine.
- Respect the patient's privacy, dignity, and personal preferences.

7. Patient Environment

- Keep the patient's room and care area clean and organized.
- Assist with patient-related light household activities.
- Maintain proper hygiene and infection-control practices.

8. Communication & Reporting

- Maintain regular communication with the patient's family.
- Follow instructions from SVT supervisors and healthcare professionals.
- Report emergencies or changes in the patient's condition immediately.
- Maintain basic daily care updates when required.

- Minimum education: 8th/10th pass preferred, depending on the assignment.
- Previous caregiver, hospital, elderly-care, or patient-care experience is preferred.
- Freshers may be considered for suitable roles based on training and interview.
- Kannada/Hindi communication preferred; other regional languages are an advantage.
- Must be physically fit to assist patients safely.
- Must be patient, compassionate, trustworthy, and responsible.
- Must be willing to work 12-hour shifts or 24-hour live-in duties, depending on the requirement.
