Job Description (JD) – Electrician (Maintenance) Location: As per Project/Site Requirement Job Purpose To carry out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems and equipment to ensure uninterrupted operations while maintaining safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities  Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical installations and equipment.  Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in LT panels, DBs, MCCs, motors, lighting systems, and power circuits.  Install, maintain, and replace electrical wiring, switches, sockets, MCBs, contactors, relays, and other electrical components.  Attend emergency breakdowns and restore electrical services within the stipulated time.  Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems and identify potential issues.  Maintain records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and material consumption.  Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, permit-to-work systems, and lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.  Use electrical testing instruments such as multimeters, clamp meters,



insulation testers (Megger), and phase sequence meters.  Coordinate with supervisors and other maintenance team members for smooth execution of maintenance work.  Maintain proper housekeeping in electrical rooms and work areas.  Follow company policies, safety procedures, and client requirements at all times. Qualification  ITI Electrician (Mandatory).  Wireman License (if required by local regulations) will be an added advantage. Experience  Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical maintenance of commercial buildings, industrial plants, airports, hospitals, metro projects, or large facilities. Technical Skills  Knowledge of electrical maintenance of LT systems.  Understanding of electrical drawings and single-line diagrams (SLD).  Experience in maintenance of motors, pumps, lighting systems, and power distribution systems.  Familiarity with electrical testing instruments.
