We’re Hiring: Restaurant Operations Manager

Pausa | Balewadi, Pune

We are looking for a responsible, hands-on Restaurant Operations Manager to take ownership of daily restaurant operations. The role includes managing staff, inventory, grocery purchasing, wastage, and customer service while ensuring the restaurant runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Manage staff schedules, attendance, duties, grooming, and performance.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and service teams to ensure timely orders, consistent food quality, and smooth service.
- Manage grocery purchases, ingredients, beverages, packaging, and other restaurant supplies.
- Maintain stock records, conduct regular stock checks, and prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Check incoming supplies for quantity, quality, pricing, and expiry dates.
- Ensure proper storage, labelling, and stock rotation.
- Track food wastage, spoilage, and stock discrepancies, and take action to reduce losses.
- Coordinate with vendors,



compare prices, and ensure timely deliveries.
- Monitor daily sales, billing, cash handling, expenses, and closing reports.
- Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness, food hygiene, and safety standards across the restaurant.
- Coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Share daily updates with the owners on sales, expenses, stock, wastage, and staffing issues.

Requirements

- Previous experience as a restaurant or café manager, or in a similar supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations, inventory management, purchasing, and cost control.
- Valuable leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable using billing/POS systems and basic spreadsheets.
- Reliable, organised, and able to take ownership with minimal supervision.

Willing to work restaurant hours, including weekends and holidays.
