Social Media Manager — Job Role

Role Summary

Manages day-to-day social media presence for a portfolio of Digital Brandlance clients — from content planning to publishing to on-ground shoots — ensuring every client page is active, on-brand, and growing.

Key Responsibilities

- Client Page Management
- Own daily posting, captions, hashtags & scheduling across Instagram, Facebook & YouTube for assigned clients
- Monitor and respond to DMs, comments & enquiries in a timely, on-brand tone
- Track follower growth, engagement & basic performance metrics per client
- Maintain a content calendar for each client, aligned with festivals, launches & offers
- Content Ideation
- Generate reel, post & carousel concepts tailored to each client's industry (real estate, healthcare, fashion, F&B;, etc.)
- Research trending audio, formats & hashtags relevant to each client's audience
- Write scripts/captions in the required language mix (Telugu, Tenglish, Hinglish, English) as per client




- Collaborate with the design/video team to translate ideas into final creatives
- Shoots
- Attend on-location and in-studio shoots for assigned clients — reels, testimonials, product/facility shoots
- Direct basic shot composition on-site (in coordination with the videographer/editor)
- Coordinate shoot schedules with clients — location access, talent/model availability, timing
- Ensure enough raw footage is captured per shoot day to meet the month's content quota

Requirements

- 1–3 years' experience in social media management or content creation (agency experience preferred)
- Comfortable being in office for shoots, not just managing from a desk
- Strong sense of trending formats/reels and what performs on Instagram
- Fluent in Telugu and English at minimum; Hindi/Hinglish a plus
- Basic understanding of Meta Business Suite / Instagram Insights
- Organized—able to juggle content calendars for multiple clients at once
