- QualificationITI / Diploma in Mechanical / Production Engineering
- BE/B.Tech Mechanical preferred
- Candidates with strong practical experience in CNC programming and machining may also be considered.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced VMC & HMC Programmer / Setter who can independently handle CNC programming, machine setting, tooling selection and production machining. The candidate should have valuable knowledge of CNC programming, engineering drawings, cutting parameters, fixture setting and quality requirements.

- Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, edit and optimize VMC & HMC CNC programs.
- Create and modify programs using G-Code and M-Code.
- Set and operate VMC/HMC machines as per engineering drawings and production requirements.
- Perform machine setting, fixture setting and tool setting.
- Set tool offsets, work offsets and wear offsets.
- Select suitable cutting tools, inserts and machining parameters.
- Optimize speed, feed and depth of cut for better productivity and tool life.
- Read and understand engineering drawings, tolerances and GD&T;.
- Conduct first-piece inspection and ensure dimensional accuracy.
- Identify and troubleshoot machining problems such as tool breakage, vibration, dimensional variation and poor surface finish.




- Modify programs to improve cycle time, quality and productivity.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality and Maintenance teams.
- Maintain CNC programs, setup sheets, tool lists and other production records.
- Ensure machines and work areas are maintained according to 5S, safety and quality requirements.
- Follow company safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Support continuous improvement and productivity enhancement activities.

- Fanuc / Mitsubishi controller knowledge
- CNC machine setting
- Fixture and tool setting
- Cutting tool and insert selection
- Speeds & feeds knowledge
- Engineering drawing reading
- GD&T; and tolerance understanding
- Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge and other measuring instruments
- Candidate ProfileShould be able to independently program, set and run VMC & HMC machines.
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong focus on quality and dimensional accuracy.
- Willing to work in a manufacturing/shop-floor environment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
