Position -Store Manager
Department -Stores & Inventory
Reporting To Plant Head / Operations Head
Job Location - Manglege Gujarat
Job Summary
The Store Manager will be responsible for managing all store operations, including receipt, storage, preservation, inventory control, material issuance, stock verification, and dispatch, while ensuring accurate inventory records and uninterrupted material availability for production. The role requires strong knowledge of inventory management systems, warehouse operations, and manufacturing store practices.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day operations of the stores and warehouse.
Ensure timely receipt, inspection, storage, preservation, and issuance of raw materials, consumables, tools, spares, and finished goods.
Maintain accurate inventory records through ERP/software and physical documentation.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimum stock availability without overstocking or stock-outs.
Conduct periodic physical stock verification, cycle counts, and annual inventory audits.
Ensure FIFO/FEFO practices wherever applicable.
Maintain proper material identification, bin locations, labeling, and traceability.
Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Quality, and Dispatch departments for smooth material flow.
Verify all inward and outward material transactions with supporting documents.
Monitor slow-moving, non-moving, obsolete, and excess inventory and recommend correctiveactions.
Ensure proper storage conditions to prevent material damage, deterioration, or loss.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and MIS reports.
Lead and supervise store personnel, allocate work, and monitor performance.
Ensure compliance with company SOPs, 5S, safety standards, and warehouse best practices.

Preferred Experience
Experience in manufacturing industries such as Automotive, Engineering, Forging, Steel, Bearings,CNC, or Heavy Engineering.
Experience handling raw materials, consumables, maintenance spares, and finished goods.
Knowledge of inventory control techniques and warehouse optimization.
Educational Qualification
Graduate in any discipline.
Diploma/Degree in Material Management, Supply Chain Management, or Warehouse Managementwill be preferred.
Experience
3–12 years of relevant experience in manufacturing stores.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
