About The Method Lab

The Method Lab is a newly launched skilled learning and capacity-building initiative focused on strengthening applied practice across the behavioural and health sciences. Our programmes are grounded in evidence and designed to help bridge the gap between knowledge and real-world professional practice.

As an early-stage initiative, we are currently building our professional community, developing our first programmes, and bringing together practitioners, researchers, educators, medical professionals, and other subject experts to contribute to future learning experiences.

The Method Lab is an initiative of Hopscotch Child Therapy.

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and organised Programme & Communications Intern to join us at this early stage and support the growth of The Method Lab. This is a hands-on, part-time role offering exposure to communications, professional outreach, organic brand building, and online programme delivery. It would suit someone who enjoys taking initiative, communicating with people, and contributing ideas rather than simply following a fixed task list.

Key Responsibilities

-Support The Method Lab's LinkedIn content and online presence

-Identify relevant communities, platforms, and organic channels for building brand visibility

-Assist with professional outreach through email, LinkedIn, and other appropriate channels

-Research and reach out to potential programme facilitators, including academics, researchers, practitioners, educators, medical professionals, and other subject experts

-Support participant communication and respond to routine programme enquiries including payment collection and coordination

-Assist with the coordination of online workshops. Help host live sessions, including welcoming participants, introducing facilitators, and moderating participant questions

-Provide post-workshop support, including certificates, feedback collection, recordings, and programme materials

The role will primarily focus on organic outreach and relationship building rather than paid advertising.

Who We're Looking For

You may be a good fit if you:

-Applicants must, at minimum, be currently pursuing a Master’s degree. Candidates from Psychology, Education, Behavioural Sciences, Communications, Marketing, Management, or related disciplines are welcome to apply.

-Have strong written and spoken English

-Are comfortable with cold email, LinkedIn outreach, and professional DMs

-Are confident communicating with people you haven't met before

-Are comfortable speaking on camera and interacting with professionals during online workshops

-Are familiar with LinkedIn, Canva, Google Workspace, and Zoom/Google Meet

-Are organised, dependable, and able to work independently

-Are proactive and enjoy finding new ways to reach relevant audiences and communities

Students and recent graduates from psychology, education, communications, marketing, management, behavioural sciences, or related fields are welcome to apply.

Previous experience with social media, outreach, events, community building, or programme coordination is an added advantage.
