Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced and responsible Purchase Executive with a background in the FMCG / Food / Bakery industry. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, coordinating with suppliers, negotiating prices, ensuring timely procurement, and maintaining proper purchase records.

- Key ResponsibilitiesHandle day-to-day purchasing and procurement activities.
- Source and identify reliable suppliers for raw materials, packaging materials, consumables, and other requirements.
- Obtain quotations from vendors and compare prices, quality, and delivery terms.
- Negotiate with suppliers for the best price, quality, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) as per approved requirements.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Monitor pending purchase orders and follow up with vendors.
- Coordinate with the Stores, Production, Quality, Accounts, and other departments regarding material requirements.
- Maintain proper purchase records, vendor details, quotations, and related documents.
- Check supplier invoices and coordinate with Accounts for payment processing.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with existing and new suppliers.
- Support vendor evaluation and performance monitoring.
- Ensure procurement is done as per company quality standards and approved specifications.




- Monitor market prices and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
- Handle urgent purchase requirements and ensure uninterrupted production.
- Maintain proper documentation and data in ERP/software and Excel.
- Required SkillsGood knowledge of FMCG / Food / Bakery industry procurement.
- Strong vendor negotiation and communication skills.
- Good knowledge of raw materials and packaging materials.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/Purchase software.
- Good analytical and follow-up skills.
- Ability to manage multiple purchase requirements simultaneously.
- Strong coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of purchase documentation, PO, GRN, invoices, and vendor management.
- Educational QualificationGraduate in any discipline.
- Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Commerce, or related field will be an advantage.

Experience2–5 years of relevant experience in Purchase/Procurement, preferably in FMCG, Food Processing, Bakery, or Manufacturing industry.

- Preferred CandidateCandidate should have hands-on experience in FMCG industry procurement.
- Experience in purchasing food raw materials, packaging materials, and consumables will be preferred.
- Immediate joiners / candidates with short notice period will be preferred.
