The Housekeeping Field Supervisor will be responsible for the end-to-end supervision of housekeeping services across all assigned client units. The role is primarily field-based and requires regular site visits to ensure smooth operations, adequate manpower deployment, and strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Unit OversightTake complete ownership of housekeeping operations across all assigned client units.
- Conduct regular field visits to monitor service quality and operational standards at each site.
- Manpower Deployment - Ensure sufficient and timely deployment of housekeeping staff at all units as per contractual requirements.
- Proactively identify and resolve manpower shortages, ensuring zero disruption to client operations.
- Coordinate substitute/backup staff arrangements in case of leaves, absenteeism, or attrition.
- Client Relationship ManagementMaintain proper and proactive communication with client site representatives.
- Actively listen to client feedback and concerns, and resolve issues promptly.
- Build and sustain solid working relationships to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
- Attendance & DocumentationCollect and consolidate monthly attendance records for all deployed staff across units.
- Verify attendance data against site logs/biometric records for accuracy.
- Submit attendance reports to the HR/Payroll team within defined timelines.
- Manpower ContinuityMaintain a ready pool of backup staff to prevent shortages at any unit.
- Coordinate with the recruitment/HR team for timely replacement of staff.
- Material & Delivery CoordinationEnsure timely delivery of housekeeping consumables, equipment, and materials to units as required.
- Track inventory needs at each site and coordinate with the procurement/stores team.
Key Requirements
- Graduate or equivalent; prior experience in facility management/housekeeping supervision preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in a similar field supervisory role, preferably in manpower/facility services.
- Willingness to travel extensively between client sites.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client-facing interactions.
- Basic proficiency in MS Excel/attendance software for reporting.
- Own two-wheeler preferred (for multi-site field travel).
- Ability to handle multiple sites and manage manpower planning independently.
