Job Title: Senior Heavy Vehicle Mechanic Industry: Automotive Key Responsibilities Diagnose and repair heavy commercial vehicles using OEM and multi-brand diagnostic tools.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, ECU, and CAN Bus system faults.
Perform engine, gearbox, differential, clutch, and transmission overhauls.
Repair hydraulic braking, steering, suspension, and auxiliary systems.
Interpret wiring diagrams, fault codes, and technical manuals.
Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of heavy vehicles.
Provide breakdown and roadside assistance when required.
Maintain accurate service records and job cards.
Ensure compliance with workshop safety and quality standards.
Mentor junior technicians and support technical training.
Requirements Minimum 6 to10 years of overall experience in heavy vehicle repair and maintenance.
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Senior / Independent Heavy Vehicle Mechanic.
Proven hands-on experience with Mercedes-Benz Actros is mandatory.
Experience with multiple heavy vehicle brands is highly preferred.
Robust knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, electrical/electronic systems, ECU, CAN Bus and hydraulics.
ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Automobile Engineering / Automotive Engineering.
GCC experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Experienced
Minimum 6–10 years of experience in heavy vehicle repair and maintenance.
Minimum 3 years as a Senior/Independent Heavy Vehicle Mechanic.
Hands-on experience with Mercedes-Benz Actros (Mandatory).
Experience with Mitsubishi Fuso, Ashok Leyland, Tata Heavy Vehicles, and Eicher is preferred.
Robust knowledge of laptop diagnostics, ECU, CAN Bus systems, diesel engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems.
Diploma in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering or ITI with relevant experience.
GCC experience preferred but not mandatory.
