Job description:

Job Title: Store Incharge

Department: Warehouse / Stores

Reports To: Operations Manager / Store Manager

Job Summary:

The Store Incharge is responsible for managing daily store operations, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring proper storage, handling, and dispatch of materials. The role ensures smooth coordination between procurement, production, and sales teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management

· Maintain accurate stock records (inward & outward)

· Monitor stock levels and prevent shortages/excess

· Conduct regular stock audits and reconciliation

Goods Handling

· Supervise receiving, unloading, and storage of materials

· Ensure proper labeling, stacking, and safety standards

· Verify incoming materials against purchase orders

Dispatch & Documentation

· Manage dispatch of goods as per schedule

· Prepare invoices, delivery challans, and reports

· Maintain proper documentation for all transactions

Team Supervision

· Oversee store staff and assign daily tasks

· Ensure discipline and efficiency in operations

· Train new employees on store procedures

Coordination





· Work with procurement and production teams

· Communicate stock requirements and shortages

· Coordinate with transport/logistics teams

Safety & Compliance

· Ensure warehouse safety standards are followed

· Maintain cleanliness and organization of store

· Follow company policies and audit requirements

Required Skills:

· Inventory management knowledge

· Basic computer skills (Excel, ERP systems)

· Attention to detail

· Leadership and team handling

· Good communication skills

Qualifications:

· Any Graduate / Diploma (preferred)

· 2–5 years experience in store or warehouse management

Working Conditions:

· Warehouse/store environment

· May require lifting or supervising physical tasks
