Junior Associate / Legal Associate – High Court & District Court Practice

As an Associate Advocate you will receive:

Exposure to:

Drafting petitions, written statements, applications and legal notices

Legal research

Case-law analysis

Court proceedings

Consumer disputes

Banking & insurance matters

Civil/criminal litigation exposure where applicable

Corporate legal work

Client conferences

Brief preparation

High Court practice

Independent drafting responsibility

About the Position

We are looking for sincere, hardworking and passionate Junior Advocates who aspire to build a long-term career in the legal profession. This opportunity is ideal for fresh graduates who possess strong legal fundamentals, excellent academic credentials, and an eagerness to learn through practical court experience.

This is not merely a job—it is an opportunity to develop into a competent legal professional under active mentorship and courtroom exposure.

Responsibilities

- Legal research and drafting.
- Preparation of pleadings, petitions, written statements and legal notices.
- Court appearances and assistance in litigation.
- Case file management and documentation.
- Client interaction under supervision.




- Any other professional legal work assigned from time to time.

Essential Requirements

- LL.B. Degree from a recognised University.
- Enrolled with the State Bar Council or eligible for enrolment.
- Freshers are welcome.
- Strong academic record with sound legal knowledge.
- Excellent drafting and research skills.
- Good command of English (knowledge of Odia and Hindi will be an advantage).
- Proficiency in MS Word and basic computer applications.
- Punctual, disciplined and willing to work hard.
