Responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring timely compliance with statutory and company requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain day-to-day books of accounts, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
- Record and verify accounting transactions in Tally Prime software.
- Prepare and maintain sales invoices, purchase bills, debit notes, credit notes, and payment vouchers.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable, including vendor and customer outstanding follow-ups.
- Perform bank reconciliation, cash reconciliation, and ledger reconciliation.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of invoices, bills, vouchers, and supporting documents.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports for management.
- Monitor customer receivables and vendor/payable balances.
- Verify expenses, bills, and supporting documents before processing payments.
- Assist in preparation and filing of GST returns, TDS returns,



and other statutory compliances.
- Maintain GST records and reconcile GSTR-2B with purchase records.
- Assist in TDS calculation, deduction, payment, and reconciliation.
- Prepare data and supporting documents required for audit and statutory compliance.
- Monitor cash and bank transactions and maintain proper cash-book records.
- Coordinate with vendors, customers, banks, auditors, and internal departments regarding financial matters.
- Ensure proper accounting treatment of expenses, assets, liabilities, income, and provisions.
- Assist in monthly and year-end closing activities.
- Identify accounting discrepancies and resolve reconciliation issues.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of financial and business information.
- Support management in financial analysis and other accounting-related activities.
