- Bachelor s degree in accounting or finance
- 5+ years of relevant experience in fund accounting, preferably in real estate, private equity, or alternative investments.
- Strong understanding of real estate fund structures (open-end, closed-end, REITs, joint ventures).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Yardi or similar systems preferred.
- Robust communication and stakeholder management skills
What You Will Get To Do
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for real estate funds in accordance with US GAAP/IFRS and fund-specific requirements.
- Perform NAV (Net Asset Value) calculations, allocations, and reconciliations.
- Maintain general ledger and sub-ledgers for real estate investment entities.
- Reconcile bank accounts, investment transactions, and intercompany balances.
- Support year-end audit processes, including preparing audit work papers and liaising with external auditors.
- Assist in processing capital calls, distributions, management fees, and carried interest in accordance with LPAs and investor reporting statements.
- Assist in the preparation of audit packs and act as a key liaison with external auditors.
- Coordinate with property managers, asset managers, and valuation teams for property-level financial data.
- Track investment performance and prepare portfolio-level reporting.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and client-specific SLAs.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and automation projects.
