About the Role
We are looking for an experienced US Healthcare Recruiter to join our growing recruitment team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in US Healthcare Staffing and a strong understanding of recruiting healthcare professionals for contract, per diem, travel, and direct-hire positions.
The recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, screening, qualifying, and placing healthcare professionals while ensuring compliance with client requirements and US healthcare staffing standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle for US Healthcare professionals, from sourcing to placement.
- Source qualified candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, internal databases, referrals, social media, and other recruitment channels.
- Recruit healthcare professionals such as:
- Registered Nurses (RN)
- Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN)
- Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA)
- Medical Assistants (MA)
- Allied Healthcare professionals
- Other clinical and healthcare professionals.
- Review resumes and conduct initial screening calls to assess candidates' skills, experience, availability, and interest.
- Verify candidate qualifications, certifications, licenses, work history, and other required credentials.
- Understand and communicate job requirements, location, shift, pay rates, contract duration, and facility details to candidates.
- Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the recruitment and placement process.
- Coordinate interviews between candidates and clients/facilities.
- Negotiate pay rates and finalize candidate availability based on client requirements.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment activity in the ATS/CRM.
- Follow up with candidates regarding submissions, interviews, offers, onboarding, and joining.
- Coordinate with Account Managers, Client Managers, Compliance, and Onboarding teams to ensure smooth placements.
- Meet daily/weekly recruitment targets and submission requirements.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified healthcare professionals for current and future requirements.
- Ensure compliance with client-specific staffing, documentation, and credentialing requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 26 years of experience in US Healthcare Recruitment/Staffing.
- Strong understanding of the US Healthcare Staffing industry.
- Experience recruiting for clinical and/or allied healthcare positions.
- Good knowledge of US healthcare recruitment terminology, processes, and employment types.
- Familiarity with healthcare credentials, licenses, certifications, and compliance requirements.
- Experience working with ATS/CRM systems and US job boards.
- Strong sourcing and candidate engagement skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong negotiation, follow-up, and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with recruitment and delivery teams.
- Comfortable working in a US Night Shift environment.
