Roles and Responsibilities :
- Design, implement, and maintain Azure SQL databases to meet business requirements.
- Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize resource utilization for improved efficiency.
- Collaborate with development teams to design data models, develop stored procedures, and ensure data integrity.
- Ensure compliance with security standards by implementing access controls, encryption, and backup strategies.
Job Requirements :
- 6-14 years of experience as an MSSQL DBA in a cloud environment (Azure).
- Strong knowledge of Azure Database services including SQL Server instances, storage options, networking configurations.
- Experience with performance tuning techniques such as indexing, partitioning, query optimization.
- Proven track record of cost optimization through productive resource allocation.
