Roles and Responsibilities :
- Design, implement, and maintain large-scale SQL databases for financial services applications.
- Optimize database performance by analyzing query logs, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing indexing strategies.
- Develop and execute scripts to automate database maintenance tasks such as backups, patches, and upgrades.
- Collaborate with development teams to design data models and develop ETL processes for extracting insights from large datasets.
Job Requirements :
- 8-12 years of experience in MS SQL DBA role with expertise in Microsoft Fabric (formerly known as SQL Server).
- Robust knowledge of T-SQL programming language and ability to write complex queries.
- Experience with performance optimization techniques including indexing, partitioning, and clustering.
