1. Role Overview
Seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA EAM Functional Consultant to support end-to-end implementation for Oil Gas clients. The role involves delivering asset management solutions across SAP Activate phases including Prepare, Discover, Design, Build, Test and Deploy, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and client objectives.
2. Key Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end SAP S/4HANA EAM implementation for Oil Gas clients covering asset lifecycle (preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance).
- Lead SAP Activate phases - Prepare, Discover, Design, Build (Realize), Test and Deploy with strong governance and quality gates.
- Conduct Fit-to-Standard workshops and business requirement gathering sessions with key stakeholders.
- Design and configure SAP EAM (Plant Maintenance) including notifications, work orders, maintenance plans, task lists, functional locations and equipment.
- Configured Work Management, Failure and Reliability management, Calibration Management, Hazardous Area Compliance, Preventive Maintenance, Planning Scheduling and Campaigns, Regulatory/Class compliance.
- Define functional specifications (RICEFW) and collaborate with technical teams for development objects.
- Drive integration with SAP MM, FI/CO, Project Systems and external systems (mobility/GIS if applicable).
- Execute and manage testing cycles - Unit Testing, SIT and UAT including defect resolution.
- Support data migration, cutover planning and Go-Live activities along with Hypercare support.
- Implement and enable SAP Fiori applications and Launchpad for EAM processes.
- Provide knowledge transfer, end-user training and documentation.

Required Skills Competencies
- Robust expertise in SAP S/4HANA EAM / Plant Maintenance (PM) module.
- Domain knowledge in Oil Gas (Upstream/Midstream/Downstream asset operations).
- Hands-on experience with SAP Fiori Apps (configuration and enablement).
- Experience in asset lifecycle management processes and maintenance strategies.
- Good understanding of SAP Activate methodology and Agile delivery framework.
- Strong experience in integrations across SAP modules and external platforms.
- Ability to create solution design documents and functional specifications.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and workshop facilitation skills.
4. Experience Qualifications
- Minimum 6+ years of hands-on SAP EAM/PM functional experience.
- At least one full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA Greenfield implementation.
- Proven experience across implementation phases from blueprint to Go-Live.
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering / IT (MBA preferred).
- SAP Certification in EAM/PM is an added advantage.
5. Key Deliverables
- Fit-to-Standard workshop outputs and Business Process Design Documents (BPDD).
- Configuration rationale and functional specifications (RICEFW).
- Test scripts, defect logs and quality assurance documents.
- Cutover plan and Go-Live readiness documentation.
- Training materials and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
