Job Summary
Soliflex Packaging Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a Consumption Executive Factory Operations to support accurate monitoring and accounting of Raw Materials (RM), Accessories, Engineering Spares, and Consumables across our manufacturing units.
The role will be responsible for tracking material receipts, issues, consumption, production output, wastage, yield, and WIP. The incumbent will work closely with Planning, Purchase, Stores, Production, Maintenance, Quality, and Finance teams to ensure accurate consumption reporting and effective inventory control.
The position will be based at the Tumkur factory and will support consumption monitoring across the company's manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. RM & Accessories Consumption

- Monitor receipt and issue of Raw Materials and Accessories from Stores.
- Track material issued to production against actual production output.
- Calculate and report product-wise / batch-wise material consumption.
- Reconcile material issued with production output, WIP, and wastage.
- Identify abnormal or excess consumption and highlight deviations to the concerned departments.
- Prepare monthly RM and Accessories consumption reports.

2. Production & Consumption Analysis

- Monitor production quantities against material consumption.
- Calculate manufacturing yield and wastage percentage for Fabric and Finishing processes.
- Compare standard/expected consumption with actual consumption.
- Analyze consumption variances and identify reasons for deviations.
- Support accurate calculation of material cost for different products/batches.
- Prepare product-wise and container-wise consumption reports

3. WIP & Inventory Monitoring

- Support accurate WIP valuation by providing consumption and production data.
- Monitor Roll Stock inventory and reconcile physical stock with system records.




- Assist in periodic inventory verification and reconciliation.
- Identify excess, slow-moving, or abnormal inventory and report the same.
- Support inventory control and reduction of stock variances.

4. Spares & Consumables

- Monitor issue and consumption of Engineering Spares and Consumables.
- Reconcile material issued to Maintenance/Engineering with actual usage.
- Prepare monthly consumption reports for Engineering Spares and Consumables.
- Identify abnormal consumption and coordinate with Maintenance for clarification.

5. Costing & MIS

- Support the Costing team in calculating actual production cost and COGS.
- Provide accurate consumption data for product-wise and order-wise costing.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly consumption MIS reports.
- Compare actual consumption and production cost against planned/standard consumption.
- Provide variance analysis and reports to management for decision-making.

6. Process Control & Coordination

- Ensure proper documentation of material receipt, issue, consumption, and transfer.
- Coordinate with Stores, Production, Planning, Purchase, Maintenance, and Quality teams.
- Ensure compliance with defined processes for inventory movement and consumption accounting.
- Participate in internal audits and stock verification activities.
- Suggest process improvements to reduce material consumption and wastage.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Costing, Accounting, or a related field.
- CMA/ICWA Inter will be an added advantage.
- Solid knowledge of MS Excel and ERP systems.

Experience

- 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in consumption accounting, costing, inventory control, or finance operations.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Experience in FIBC, PP Woven, Textile, Plastics, Packaging, or similar manufacturing industries will be an advantage.
