About BUP

Be You Production is a Kolkata-based social media and content production agency. We manage the end-to-end social presence of 15-20 brands across fashion, jewellery, lifestyle, and F&B; — from content strategy and copy to shoots, publishing, and community management.

The Role

We're looking for a Social Media Manager to own the day-to-day social media of a set of brands from start to finish — planning what goes out, coordinating the creative to make it, publishing it, and keeping each brand's voice sharp and consistent. This is a hands-on ownership role for someone who can run multiple brands at once without dropping the ball.

What You'll Do

Own end-to-end social media for a portfolio of brands.

Plan and maintain monthly content calendars aligned to each brand's goals.

Write platform-specific captions and copy in each brand's distinct voice.

Brief and coordinate designers, editors, and the production team so content ships on time and on-brand.

Coordinate and assist on content shoots — concepts, reels, and platform-first content.

Manage community — comments, DMs, and engagement — promptly and on-brand.

Track performance, read the insights,



and adjust content accordingly.

Be the point of contact for client approvals, revisions, and timelines.

What You Need

Minimum 1-2 years of social media management experience, with prior agency experience essential — you've handled multiple brands/clients at once, not a single in-house page.

Strong copywriting and a feel for brand voice across different industries.

Proven ability to run content calendars and hit publishing deadlines under pressure.

Comfort coordinating designers, editors, and shoots.

Working knowledge of Meta Business Suite and platform analytics.

Organised, reliable, and calm juggling several brands simultaneously.

Nice to Have

Experience with fashion, jewellery, lifestyle, or F&B; brands.

Basic design/Canva skills to move fast on quick creatives.

Familiarity with AI content tools.
