About the Role:

We are looking for a creative, fast-moving Social Media Video Editor who natively understands internet culture and knows how to grab attention in the first 3 seconds. You won't just be cutting footage—you’ll be shaping viral hooks, quick-paced storytelling, and high-engagement short-form video for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.

What You’ll Do:

- Edit High-Retention Videos: Turn raw footage, voiceovers, and assets into punchy, high-performing videos (Reels, TikToks, Shorts).
- Master the Hook: Script, trim, and frame visual hooks that hold viewer retention and maximize watch time.
- Elevate the Visuals: Add trending audio, dynamic captions, kinetic text, sound design, and light motion graphics.
- Spot Trends: Stay plugged into viral social trends, audio clips, and platform shifts,



applying them quickly to our brand.
- Iterate & Optimize: Work with the marketing team to test different cuts, thumbnails, and hook variations based on performance data.

What We’re Looking For:

- Portfolio/Reel Required: Proven track record of editing engaging short-form social video.
- Tool Mastery: Expert with Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or After Effects.
- Social Native: Deep understanding of visual pacing, text placement, and sound design tailored specifically to platform algorithms.
- Speed & Agility: Ability to turn around daily/weekly content quickly without compromising quality.
