What you’ll be responsible for

• Assist in managing day-to-day pastry kitchen and production operations

• Supervise and guide pastry chefs and junior team members

• Ensure consistency in recipes, techniques, presentation and product quality

• Support planning and execution of practical pastry classes and demonstrations

• Train students in professional pastry techniques and kitchen practices

• Assist with recipe development, standardisation and product R&D;

• Monitor mise en place, production schedules, wastage and inventory

• Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety and kitchen discipline

• Support curriculum development and practical training initiatives

• Coordinate with the academic and operations teams to ensure smooth functioning of classes and production

What we’re looking for

• 5+ years of professional pastry experience, preferably with experience in a structured hotel, pâtisserie, bakery, restaurant or culinary institute

• Strong knowledge of cakes, pastries,



breads, viennoiserie, desserts and modern pastry techniques

• Excellent understanding of professional kitchen operations and production planning

• Robust communication and team-management skills

• Passion for teaching, mentoring and developing young pastry professionals

• High attention to detail and consistency

• Professional attitude, discipline and willingness to continuously learn

Teaching experience will be an advantage, but is not mandatory.
