Project Manager – Building Construction - INDUSTRIAL
Qualification:
B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (mandatory). PG/Diploma in Construction or Project Management, or a contracts qualification, is an advantage. Experience: Minimum 10 years in building construction, of which at least 5 years in an independent Project Manager / Construction Manager role. Minimum two completed building projects of ₹15–30 Cr or higher. Government / PSU / CPWD / PWD / EPC experience strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities: • Overall responsibility for execution, programme, cost, quality, safety and client satisfaction for the entire project. • Prepare and monitor the baseline programme, construction schedules, critical path, milestones and resource deployment; issue recovery programmes where progress slips. • Coordinate architectural, structural and MEP drawings; identify design conflicts and site constraints and drive timely resolution.
• Manage contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and specialist agencies; chair site coordination and progress review meetings. • Control BOQ, measurements, rate analysis, RA bills, quantity/material reconciliation and project cost against approved budget. • Handle variations, extra items, deviations, EOT, delay analysis, claims and contractual correspondence under CPWD/PSU conditions of contract. • Act as the primary project-level interface with DGLL / PSU representatives and consultants; maintain DPR/MPR, inspection records, minutes and audit-ready project documentation. • Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and statutory safety requirements;
