About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Exchange Manager to manage the complete vehicle exchange and valuation process.

The candidate will be responsible for evaluating customer vehicles, determining accurate market value, negotiating exchange prices, managing vehicle acquisition and ensuring that exchange deals are commercially viable for the dealership.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of used-car valuation, vehicle condition assessment, market pricing and negotiation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Vehicle Evaluation & Inspection
- Inspect customer vehicles offered for exchange.
- Identify major defects, repairs and potential risks.
- Coordinate with the inspection/technical team where required.
- Analyse current market prices of similar vehicles.
- Consider vehicle age, variant, running, ownership, condition and resale potential.
- Exchange Deal ManagementHandle all exchange enquiries generated through showroom,



sales team, digital leads and other sources.
- Provide valuation to customers and negotiate exchange prices.
- Work closely with Sales Executives to convert exchange enquiries into vehicle sales.
- Structure exchange deals while maintaining approved pricing limits.
- Escalate exceptional or high-value cases to management for approval.

Requirements:

- Robust practical knowledge of used-car valuation.
- Good understanding of different automobile brands, models and variants.
- Knowledge of vehicle inspection and identification of accident/repair history.
- Strong knowledge of local used-car market pricing.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to assess vehicle resale potential.
- Good knowledge of vehicle documentation and ownership transfer.
- Basic computer knowledge for maintaining records and reports.
- Valid driving licence is mandatory.
