Job Description - Purchase Executive

Position: Purchase Executive

Industry: Textile Dyeing / Fabric Processing

Location: Barrackpore Ruiya

Joining: Immediate

Key Responsibilities

- Purchase dyes, chemicals, auxiliaries, packing materials, spare parts, consumables, and other materials required for dyeing and processing operations.
- Identify and develop reliable suppliers and maintain good vendor relationships.
- Obtain quotations, compare prices, negotiate rates, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, Accounts, and Management regarding material requirements.
- Monitor stock levels and arrange purchases according to production requirements.
- Verify material quality, quantity, specifications, and delivery documents.
- Follow up with suppliers regarding pending orders and delayed deliveries.
- Maintain purchase records, supplier details, quotations, purchase orders, and invoices.




- Support cost-control initiatives and identify opportunities for better pricing and sourcing.
- Ensure purchases are made according to company policies and requirements.

Candidate Requirements

- Experience in purchase/procurement in the textile dyeing, processing, or related industry preferred.
- Good knowledge of dyes, chemicals, textile processing consumables, and general industrial materials will be an advantage.
- Good negotiation and vendor-management skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and purchase/inventory software.
- Positive communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet urgent material requirements.
- Candidates who can join immediately will be preferred.
