Website: YAAS | Own Your Distribution About the Role We are looking for an editor who understands that editing is not cutting footage, it is building an experience. You will be cutting 30 to 90 second verticals that have to earn attention in the first second and hold it to the last frame. This role is fully remote, but you will work closely with writers, designers, and creative leads on a daily basis. What You'll Do Edit short form videos (30 to 90 seconds) for Instagram and YouTube Shorts Build pacing that serves the story, with cuts on beats, on emotion, on energy,



and with intentional pauses Source and time b-roll that acts as visual evidence, not filler Maintain a consistent visual language across every edit, including colour, overlays, graphic elements, and transitions Design and animate typography with transparent hierarchy and custom motion rather than presets Deliver colour-corrected, properly mixed edits (normalised to -14 LUFS) on deadline Own projects end-to-end, from raw footage to final export What We're Evaluating Pacing Contextual B-Rolls Design Sense Typography Requirements Strong command of Premiere Pro and Photoshop A genuine sense of timing, composition, typography, and transitions Ability to read a script and translate it into a visual structure Organised project files and clean handoffs Reliable communication across time zones and async workflows An ownership mindset, so you do not need to be chased for updates
