Job Description:

Role Overview

The Area Service Engineer will provide field and channel support for alternators, electrical control panels, generator applications, and related products. The role focuses on diagnostics, troubleshooting, failure analysis, technical escalation, and improvement of service performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose and resolve critical electrical and electronic field issues.
- Troubleshoot alternators, control panels, and generator applications.
- Conduct failure analysis and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Provide technical guidance to channel and field-service teams.
- Support product issues across industrial, off-highway, and railway applications.
- Monitor channel performance and service KPIs.
- Prepare transparent technical reports and maintain service documentation.
- Coordinate escalations and ensure timely closure of customer issues.
