Summary: As a Cloud Platform Engineer, a typical day involves designing and constructing cloud application solutions that seamlessly integrate both cloud-based and traditional infrastructure components. The role includes testing and deploying these solutions to ensure they meet performance and security standards. This position requires creating architectural proofs to validate the feasibility and robustness of the infrastructure and platform environments, ensuring that the deployed systems operate efficiently and securely within the cloud ecosystem. Collaboration with various teams to align deployment strategies and troubleshoot integration challenges is also a key part of the daily activities. Roles & Responsibilities: - Lead LAN/WLAN current-state assessment and discovery.- Develop and validate LAN/WLAN HLD/LLD.- Design and implement Aruba Switching solutions.- Design and implement Aruba Wireless solutions.- Work with Aruba Central for configuration, monitoring and management.- Support campus LAN/WLAN modernization and technology refresh.- Develop site migration and cutover strategies.- Validate switch, wireless and network configurations.- Support deployment waves and site migrations.- Troubleshoot complex LAN/WLAN issues.- Coordinate with Prisma SD-WAN, NAC/security and infrastructure teams.- Support post-migration validation and stabilization.- Define deployment standards and configuration templates.- Expected to be an SME,



collaborate and manage the team to perform.- Responsible for team decisions.- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.- Lead the evaluation and implementation of new cloud infrastructure technologies to enhance system capabilities.- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to support continuous professional growth.- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure alignment of cloud platform initiatives with organizational goals.
