A KYC (Know Your Customer) Officer is responsible for verifying customer identity and documents, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring that customer onboarding and account-related processes follow KYC/AML requirements. Axis Bank’s KYC documentation includes identity and address verification, PAN/Aadhaar details, document verification, and in-person verification.

KYC Officer / KYC Executive - Axis Bank
Key Responsibilities
Verify customer KYC documents such as PAN Card, Aadhaar Card, Passport, Voter ID, Driving Licence, etc.
Check customer identity and address details.
Perform document scrutiny and identify discrepancies or incomplete information.
Complete new KYC and Re-KYC processes.
Update and maintain customer records in the bank's system.
Ensure proper documentation during account opening and customer onboarding.
Follow KYC, AML and bank compliance procedures.
Coordinate with branch staff and customers for missing documents.
Maintain confidentiality of customer information.
Escalate suspicious or unusual documentation/transactions according to bank procedures.
Support branch operations and customer service when required.
Eligibility
Qualification: HS Pass / Graduate - depending on the specific recruitment
Experience: Freshers and experienced candidates can apply, subject to the vacancy
