Position: Front Office / OPD Billing Executive

Department: Front Office / Billing

Experience: Fresher to 1 Year

Location: Hospital

Educational Qualification
Graduate in any discipline.
Diploma/Certificate in Hospital Administration or Medical Billing will be an advantage.
Basic computer knowledge is required.

Job Responsibilities
Handle patient registration and OPD appointment processes.
Create and maintain accurate patient records.
Prepare OPD bills, receipts, and payment entries.
Handle cash, card, UPI, and other payment transactions.
Explain consultation charges, investigations, and other hospital charges to patients.
Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, laboratory, radiology, pharmacy, and other departments.
Verify patient details and billing information before generating bills.
Handle billing corrections and discrepancies as per hospital policy.
Maintain daily cash and billing records and assist with daily closing.
Provide information regarding OPD services, timings, doctors, and hospital procedures.




Handle patient queries and complaints politely and professionally.
Ensure proper documentation of all billing and registration transactions.
Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
Follow hospital policies, billing procedures, and patient-safety standards.

Required Skills
Valuable communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic knowledge of MS Office and hospital billing software.
Good numerical and cash-handling skills.
Polite, qualified, and patient-friendly attitude.
Positive attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple patients.
Willingness to work in rotational shifts, if required.

Preferred Candidate

A fresher or candidate with up to 1 year of experience in hospital front office, OPD billing, reception, patient registration, or a similar healthcare role.

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
