Job Description – Project Manager (Recent Product Development)

Location: Chennai
Reporting To: Senior Management
Experience: 8–12 Years
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Polymer, Plastics, or Chemical Engineering (PMP preferred)

Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end Recent Product Development (NPD) projects for Rubber & Engineering Plastics.
Plan, execute, and monitor projects to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.
Coordinate with Design, Production, Quality, Procurement, and Customers.
Manage project schedules, risks, and resources.
Support product validation, tooling, and successful product launches.
Ensure compliance with customer and quality requirements.

Preferred Profile
8–12 years of experience in NPD/Project Management in the Rubber, Plastics, Automotive,



or Engineering Manufacturing industry.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results within timelines.

Required Skills
Experience in Rubber/Engineering Plastics product development.
Robust project management and cross-functional coordination skills.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, APQP/PPAP, and quality systems.
Good communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in MS Office/MS Project; PMP certification is an added advantage.

Pay: ₹650,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
