Job Description – Billing / Cashier | Jewellery Showroom

Key Responsibilities
Handle billing and payment transactions for jewellery purchases accurately.
Prepare customer invoices and bills using the showroom's billing software.
Calculate jewellery value, making charges, wastage, discounts, GST, and other applicable charges accurately.
Receive payments through cash, credit/debit cards, UPI, bank transfers, and other approved payment methods.
Verify cash and digital payment transactions and maintain proper records.
Handle cash collection, cash counting, and daily cash reconciliation.
Verify customer and invoice details before completing transactions.
Coordinate with sales executives and other showroom staff to ensure smooth billing.
Process returns, exchanges, and cancellations as per company policies.
Maintain daily sales, cash, and payment-related reports.
Ensure proper documentation of all transactions and maintain confidentiality.




Assist with end-of-day closing procedures and reconciliation.
Follow company policies and procedures related to cash handling and financial transactions.

Skills & Qualifications
Any Bachelor's degree / Diploma preferred.
1–3 years of experience as a Cashier, Billing Executive, or Accounts/Billing Executive.
Jewellery showroom experience will be an added advantage.
Good knowledge of billing software and basic MS Excel.
Robust numerical and calculation skills.
Positive attention to detail and accuracy.
Positive communication and customer-handling skills.
Ability to handle cash and payment transactions responsibly.
Basic knowledge of GST and jewellery billing is preferred.
Good command of Tamil and English.

Preferred Candidates

Candidates with experience in jewellery showrooms, retail stores, textile showrooms, supermarkets, luxury retail, or other high-value retail environments will be preferred.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
