Job Overview

We are looking for passionate and disciplined Commis 1, Commis 2 & Commis 3 – Continental to support daily kitchen operations and ensure consistent food quality, hygiene, and timely preparation.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook Continental dishes as per recipes, SOPs, and presentation standards.
Assist in mise en place, preparation, portioning, plating, and service.
Maintain consistency in taste, quality, portion size, and presentation.
Follow FIFO, food safety, hygiene, and kitchen cleanliness standards.
Maintain proper storage, labelling, and handling of ingredients.
Monitor food wastage and ensure efficient use of raw materials.
Support senior chefs during busy service periods.
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and kitchen areas.
Follow daily production and prep schedules.
Coordinate with other kitchen sections to ensure smooth operations.

Position-Wise Expectations

Commis 1




Robust knowledge of Continental cooking and independent handling of assigned sections.
Assist CDP/Sous Chef with production and service.
Guide Commis 2 & 3 when required.

Commis 2
Valuable understanding of Continental preparation and basic cooking techniques.
Handle assigned prep and cooking tasks independently under supervision.

Commis 3
Basic knowledge of kitchen operations, mise en place, and food preparation.
Assist in cleaning, preparation, cutting, portioning, and basic cooking tasks.

Candidate Profile
Experience: 0–3 years in Continental kitchens.
Culinary / Hotel Management qualification preferred.
Experience in QSR, café, cloud kitchen, restaurant, or hospitality preferred.
Good knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety.
Ability to work in a rapid-paced kitchen environment.
Positive attitude, discipline, teamwork, and willingness to learn.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
