The Overseas Executive will be responsible for coordinating with overseas agents, handling international shipments, ensuring smooth documentation, and maintaining effective communication to support import and export operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate with overseas agents and partners for import and export shipments
Handle international communication via email and phone with overseas clients and agents
Manage shipment bookings, rate confirmations, and follow-ups
Prepare and verify shipping documents such as BL, HBL, Invoice, Packing List, and Shipping Instructions
Track shipments and provide timely status updates to customers and internal teams
Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company SOPs
Resolve shipment-related issues and coordinate for timely delivery
Maintain records of shipments and overseas correspondence
Skills & Competencies:
Positive knowledge of freight forwarding operations (Air & Sea – Import/Export)
Solid communication skills in English (written & verbal)
Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders across time zones
Positive follow-up and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in MS Office and logistics software
Qualification & Experience:
Graduate / Post Graduate (preferably in Logistics or Commerce)
1–3 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics industry
Freshers with relevant training may also be considered
