Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Cytogenetics Technician / Executive to join our laboratory team. The candidate will be responsible for processing samples, chromosome/cell culture-related work, slide preparation, staining, and laboratory documentation.

Key Responsibilities
Receive, verify, and process samples as per laboratory SOPs.
Perform cell culture and chromosome preparation procedures.
Prepare slides and perform required staining techniques.
Assist in karyotyping and chromosome analysis.
Handle blood, bone marrow, and other cytogenetic specimens as per SOPs.
Maintain proper sample identification, records, and documentation.
Perform quality control checks and maintain laboratory standards.




Operate and maintain laboratory equipment as per SOPs.
Follow laboratory safety, quality, and infection-control procedures.
Coordinate with senior staff/pathologists for smooth workflow.

Qualification
B.Sc./M.Sc. in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Life Sciences, Genetics, or B.Sc./M.Sc. MLT.
Candidates with relevant Cytogenetics / Molecular Biology laboratory exposure will be preferred.

Skills
Basic knowledge of cell culture, chromosome preparation, staining, and karyotyping.
Valuable laboratory and documentation skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Willingness to learn advanced cytogenetics techniques.
Ability to work in a team setting.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
