Collatzinc is looking for a hands-on Software Architect to lead architecture and technical decision-making across client and product engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities
Design scalable, secure, and maintainable software architectures.
Lead system design, API, database, cloud, and integration decisions.
Review technical approaches, identify risks, and guide implementation.
Create architecture documentation and technical specifications.
Support technical discovery, estimation, and client discussions.
Mentor engineering teams and drive architecture best practices.

Required Skills
10+ years of experience in software development and architecture.
Strong backend expertise in Node.js, Python, PHP/Laravel, or similar technologies.
Valuable understanding of modern frontend architecture (React, Vue, Angular, TypeScript).
Experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, microservices, and distributed systems.
Strong knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, data modelling, and performance optimisation.
Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
Robust understanding of scalability, security, reliability,



and system performance.
Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.

Good to Have
Experience in software services, consulting, or client-facing roles.
Exposure to AI/ML integrations, ERP systems, SaaS platforms, or automation solutions.
Experience working with international clients.

This Role Is Not for You If
Your experience is primarily project or delivery management.
You focus on architecture documentation but not implementation.
You cannot review code, APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure, and performance issues.
